On the 11th September Renae & Danielle travelled to the Gold Coast to the Marriott Hotel for De Lorenzo Annual ASPYA Hair Conference.
It was an exciting time, at the awards Gala we were named a finalist for 'Salon of the Year'. An amazing achievement.
Danielle was also a finalist once again for the Pitch competition where you can pitch ideas for the delegates at the conference to vote on to improve the ASPYA program. A video of Danielle pitching her idea was filmed and played at conference to 350 attendees, and Danielle's 'Pitch' idea was named the winner. This means Danielle's ideas for social media packs from De Lorenzo will be implemented into the program for next year.
This will mean that we can share image of new products and colours with everyone much sooner.
During the 3 days we heard from 4 different speakers, attending a welcome party, the gala awards dinner and met and discussed different ideas with other salon owners.
During the welcome event we were amazed with an inspiring hair show that was spectacularly put together.
We have returned from Conference motivated, inspired and re-energised.
